Previously Luton College of Higher Education, with roots dating back to Luton Modern School, founded in 1908, the University of Bedfordshire has been known by its current name since the University of Luton and De Montfort University’s Bedford campus merged in 2006. It is a modern university with a total of six campuses across the counties of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, offering courses in creative arts, sport, science, social sciences, business, and a range of other subjects.
